I really like this logo. I just started using inkscape to, but I'm having trouble getting it online. When i up load something I make with the program, the background turns black and the picture looks really pixely. How do you get your stuff to come out ok?

Hi, Rockgirl, thanks for your comment. Save the PNG image file as JPG. Png saves files with transparency, so that everything you left white can turn into other background colors. In your case black. JPG flattens the Image.

This is my favorite about:inkscape in all time.

I'm trying to duplicate your glass at the moment. Taking a little longer than I hoped though.

Have you created anything recently?

Very nice!

It would be interesting to see how this looks on a tiled background to make it look like it's sitting on a kitchen countertop...

i try to, ice cubes are very hard to imitate i think. And the File yet is 152kB big. My Computer (PII 400Mhz) is very busy with it, when i draw something. But thank you for your comment after 2 hours :)

Best wishes for your submission, i like the colors and the light spot very much.

PS:
Have you arranged the names by hand to fit the Inkscape logo or have i not found the function yet. (sorry for my english :)

You know, my english is too weak for to someone to feel sorry for someones english :)

I understend your trubble, a couple of days I had mostly the same computer (500 Mhz cel) so I wish you to change it on something more powerfull as soon as possible :)

About your question: In first variant - names arranged by hends
but in second i used a text filled box - it's very simple - draw some shape and choose "Flow text into shape" from right click mouse menu.
And i don't know witch one is better :)

See you
